Who is Edgar Linares?

This is it! This is my web site. For many of you who don't know me, my name is Edgar Linares. I'm Latino-American and have worked in broadcasting for almost a decade.  I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, where much of my family still lives. I've been a reporter, anchor, radio jock and have done many jobs behind the scenes in news and TV. I've even acted in a few commercials. Broadcasting has given me the opportunity to live in many different places and I've made many friends along the way.

For a long time I've covered stories about death and destruction...I know it's news, but a person can only take so much of that. My favorite stories have always been feature stories with music and great personalities. Now, I can tell those stories that interest me and those stories that people remember. So come along with me in my adventures into downtown.
